When starting to think about designing a brand identity, I tried to brainstorm ideas of what I could possible use in the logo elements. My aim was to come up with new ideas, that would reflect on my brand values. With creating a housing company, I found that drifting off into new and more adventurous ideas could have a miss understanding of the brief. I tried ideas from trying to manipulate ‘&’ into a eco sign, to using objects from the environment within the logo. This was trying to design over leaves/trees. After much research into the market competitors and other housing companies, I was starting to struggle to gather new ideas and possible outcomes for a logo. This lead me into sketching, and what I can relate back to my brand values.
